Eyebrows

American actress Courtney Cox (best knows from sitcom Friends and the lucky cow got to dance with The Boss in a music video) once said "I only have to do three things to look halfway decent, curl my eyelashes, fill in my eyebrows and put some lipstick on".

I completely agree with her about the eyebrows. Your face looks altogether more groomed if you give them a little care and attention. I am one of those girls that has crazy eyebrows but it only takes two seconds in the morning to brush and set them with an eyebrow gel like M.A.C Brow Set. I use the clear version as my eyebrows are quite dark already but for those that need to fill them in there are coloured versions. It's another can't leave home without product and I thank friend Linsay for showing me the light. On a trip to Manchester she mentioned and I have never looked back.

I also found out that it's OK for women to trim eyebrows (who knew - I thought just men!). I think this is essential if the single hairs are long and thick. Pluck some hairs and trim the others, brushing them up, evening the ends (be careful - not too much!), then brushing them down checking again and again as you go along.

Here is a helpful website for shaping and plucking and trimming. I think the most essential thing is not to over pluck. Let them grow and you'll have them looking like Brooke Shields in no time!
